(Abstract)
An international large-N experiment in the Vogtland and Northwest Bohemia region crossing the German-Czech border. The Eger Basin has experienced recurring earthquake swarms for centuries. The GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geoscience Research, in collaboration with universities in Potsdam, Leipzig, Freiberg, Jena, Munich, Erlangen, and Münster, as well as the Saxon Geological Survey and the Academy of Sciences in Prague, deployed approximately 300 temporary seismic stations across a 100 x 100 km area to study the region's earthquake swarm and deep magmatic processes.. Waveform data is available from the GEOFON data centre, under network code X2.
