(Abstract)
Two strong motion sensors (Nanometrics Titan accelerometers linked to Nanometrics Centaurs) have been installed on Princes' Islands (Sivriada and Büyükada islands) that are located as close as possible to the North Anatolian Fault to allow for rapid detection of an earthquake. Waveform data is available from the GEOFON data centre, under network code 2Q.
